Q) How many people can the Igloo seat?
A) Our Igloos are able to seat up to 6 adults

Q) How big are your Igloos?

A) Our Igloos are fairly large & spacious. To be precise, they are 3.6 meters in diameter, meaning it would require a space of at least 4x4m to ensure it is set up comfortably. Plenty of space for you and all your friends to enjoy!

Q) Am I able to add extras to my package?
A) Sure can, Please see our add-on list at the bottom of our Packages page

Q) How long in advance do I need to book?
A) We will require a minimum of 2 days in advance, however this will always be subject to availability, so the sooner the better!

Q) Am I able to request hire of the Igloo to be placed within a public space?
A) Of course, We are able to set up our Igloos and place them wherever, during any season. However, do take into consideration which additions you select as some require a power source to function.

Q) Are you able to customize the Igloo to suit a specific Event / Function ?
A) Yes, please do message us directly to discuss which custom additions you would like organised for your special day!

Q) How and when do I make payment?
A) Each booking will receive an invoice specifically tailored to the package and additions you may have added. Payment will be required 48 hours prior to delivery & set up. We accept PayPal or direct transfer payments.

Q) Is this service available during COVID-19 Lockdown and is it safe?
A) It sure is, at Igloo Hire Australia we comply with all government standards to ensure your health and well-being. We provide a safe & clean contactless service, ensuring that every surface is disinfected after every use, even including our blankets, pillows & table cloths !

Q) Do you provide Alcohol ?
A) Unfortunately, due to licensing issues, we are unable to provide alcohol within our packages.

​

Q) What do I need to take into consideration when booking in the Spa ?
A) When booking in our Spa, you will be required to have a near-by water source & hose so that we may fill up your spa with water, along with a water drain if you do not wish to pour the water out onto your garden / surface. A hot water source is NOT required as the Spa has water heating mechanics. Upon completion of your Spa, you will be required to empty out the water after use for hygienic purposes and so that we may clean the Spa for the next individuals to enjoy!

Q) Am I able to book in both Spa & movie in one ?
A) Of course, our heated Spa can also be placed outdoors so once your are done, you may head inside our Igloo to snuggle up and enjoy a relaxing movie!

Q) How much space do I need for my Igloo set up?
A) We recommend at least a 4x4 metre space for set-up. We also highly recommend having easy access to the location you would like to set up. If you are unsure about the space, please contact us for assistance.

Q) What weather conditions can the igloo be set up in?

A) Rain or shine our igloo can still be hired and set up! Our igloo can be zipped up to keep you warm and the rain out, our igloo is also waterproof. Depending on the season every igloo hire package includes a heater for colder weather or a fan for warmer weather. 

​

Q) How long can I hire the igloo for?

A) Our hire period is 5 hours. However, if you would like 24 hours overnight hire please contact us and we can organise additional hire time for you!

Q) How long does it take to set up and pack up?

A) Our team will arrive 2 hours prior to your igloo start time to set up and ensure everything is perfect for your hire. Packing the igloo can take 1-1.5 hours.

Q) Does the price include delivery and installation?

A) Yes! Our prices include installation and pack up of the igloo. Delivery cost will depend on your location. We offer free delivery to all  Western Melbourne suburbs. All other areas in Melbourne incur a $30 delivery fee. If you are located in regional Melbourne, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Q) Does the hire include food?

A) Unfortunately, we do not offer food catering for our igloo hires. You are welcome to provide your own food and snacks. However, we do have the option of an add on snack basket which includes Popcorn, Fairy Floss & Chocolate and a Grazing Platter from an external company. Please contact us for more information about our add on food options.

Q) Do you provide balloons?

A) We sure do! We offer numbered helium balloons and standard latex helium balloons. Balloons can be added to our packages, pricing will depend on quantity and balloon style. We offer a range of colours to suit your igloo experience/celebration. 

​

Q) Do you require a bond?

A) Yes we do require a $200 refundable deposit upon booking your igloo experience. The bond will be returned to the original payment method if all items are returned in their original condition. 

​

Q) How many people does our Netflix n' Chill couch & bed seat? 

A) Our couch included in the package seats 2 people (double seater). The couch can also be folded out to a mattress which can fit an additional adult. If you require more seating please contact us.
