Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Igloo Hire Australia!

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our Igloo hire service 

​

By accessing & booking through this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions.

​

The following applies to all bookings, future & past.

​

Our Igloos are exactly 3.6 meters in diameter, all spaces booking for our Igloo will require a minimum space of 4x4 meters to fulfill the set up and ensure easy access.


Each set up is noted & photographed for the purposes of; 
A) Condition Assurance
B) Personal Advertising
C) Future enquiry clarification


Your privacy will always be protected. No personal details, addresses or sensitive property will ever be shared to the public.

BOOKINGS:

​

Bookings must be secured a minimum of 48 hours prior to set up & delivery. Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been made and you have received a confirmation email or text from Igloo Hire Australia. Booking costs will vary depending on your package selection, delivery and add ons. All costs associated with your booking will be disclosed prior to the booking and payment. 

Bookings without payment will be considered a 'tentative booking' therefore the date is not secured and will be released 48 hours from the enquiry. We will send you a reminder, if you wish to secure the date payment must be made.

Please note; All suburbs outside of the Western Suburb region will incur a delivery fee, this fee is to be provided at the time of booking.

CANCELLATIONS:

​

If you wish to cancel your booking you must provide a 5 calendar day notice prior to your scheduled booking. If you have provided more than 5 days of cancellation notice you will receive a full refund back to your original payment method. However, if less than 5 days notice is provided, 50% of the total booking amount will be forfeited. 

 

If you wish to reschedule your booking you must provide 5 calendar days notice prior to your original booking date.

SECURITY BOND:


All bookings require a $200AUD refundable security bond, payable at the time of booking (This will be included within your invoice). All security bonds will be released within 3 business days to your original card issuer / payment provider given no damage occurs. The hirer is responsible for the equipment hired and will need to protect the equipment from theft or damage at all times. If the items are not returned in their original form or are missing Igloo Hire Australia has the right to forfeit the bond security and request payment for compensation depending on the damage costs. 

DAMAGES:


Customers will be liable for any damages caused during their hire period. Igloo Hire Australia has the right to forfeit the security bond to cover any damage costs. The total cost of damages will be determined by Igloo Hire Australia. If damages are more than the security bond, Igloo Hire Australia have the right to request further payment from the customer. Please note; damages apply to all items inside or outside the igloo which are owned by Igloo hire Australia. Furthermore, this includes damages to the igloo structure, cover and flooring. 

Smoking or flammable items are strictly prohibited inside or around the igloo. 

 

DELIVERY FEES:

​

Igloo Hire Australia provides free delivery to the Western suburbs of Melbourne! Any areas outside of this region will incur a delivery fee, this fee is to be provided upon time of booking. If you are hiring from regional Victoria, please contact us for a delivery quote. Park setup and delivery fees will depend on location, please enquire for a quote.

Each Igloo is booked for a total of 5 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax, unwind & enjoy! However, Full day & overnight bookings are also available, please send your enquiries to Igloohireau@gmail.com to discuss, alternatively you may contact us on our social media platforms!
